Click Learning – Production Release Notes

Deployment date: 20 May 2026
Project: Click Learning

What’s new in this update?

This release focuses on making Click Learning easier to manage, more reliable, and more compliant—especially for teams handling sensitive information. It includes small but important fixes, plus a few new features that give system admins more control and peace of mind.

Improvements and fixes

Managing Topics is now simpler

Who this helps: System admins

You can now confidently update a topic’s status after it has been created.

  • If a topic needs to be changed from Visible to Inactive, the system will now save this properly.
  • This makes it much easier to keep in‑house and custom training tidy, up to date, and relevant.

In short: what you change now stays changed.

Assessments work more smoothly behind the scenes

Who this helps: Learners and support teams

We’ve simplified how assessments are launched from the course page.

  • Assessments no longer include unnecessary background processes that learners never see.
  • Learners won’t notice any difference—but the system is now more reliable and easier to support.
  • This also reduces the chances of odd edge‑case issues occurring in future.

Less complexity, fewer things to go wrong. Everyone wins.

Session evidence can now be deleted by system admins

Who this helps: System admins and managers

This is an important update for data protection and GDPR compliance.

  • System admins can now delete any session evidence, even if the original author is no longer available.
  • Evidence may include free text notes or uploaded documents, which can sometimes contain personal or sensitive information.
  • This gives organisations full control to remove information that is no longer needed or appropriate.

This change supports safer data handling and gives you confidence that personal information can be managed properly at all times.

Training Matrix report – new Completion Date filter

Who this helps: Managers and compliance leads

You can now filter the Training Matrix report by Completion Date.

  • This makes it easier to check compliance for specific time periods.
  • Useful for audits, inspections, and internal reviews.

Less manual checking, more clarity.
