Cross reference observations against the Care Certificate

Summary:
This article explains how to add evidence to a learner’s session and cross-reference it with the Care Certificate standards.

Steps:

      1.  Go to the Learners tab on the left menu.

      2.  Select the learner you want to view.

      3.  Open their profile, then open the session you want to update.

      4.  Add the evidence and write a short explanation of what the observation was for.

      5.  Select the Cross Reference button when it appears.

      6.  Choose Care Certificate from the list of courses.

      7.  Scroll through the list of outcomes and tick the ones that match the evidence.

      8.  Go back to the learner’s profile.

      9.  Open the Care Certificate section and select the standard you want to check.

      10.  Scroll to the bottom of the page to see which outcomes have been cross-referenced.

Tips or Common Issues:
• Make sure the evidence description is clear so you can match it to the correct outcomes later.
• If you cannot see the Cross Reference button, save the evidence first and then check again.
