Do I need to allocate an assessor and how do I do this?

The allocate assessor button has a very specific use and should only be used when trying to allocate an external assessor who is not part of your Click - Learning account

External assessor have a specific profile that needs to be requested by raising a ticket with our support team. 

There is a handy tool tip in Click - Learning if you hover over the allocate assessor button: 


Assessor example:
  1. A learner is using Click - Learning to complete the Residential Childcare diploma and needs their external assessor to be able to see and sign off the relevant Click - Learning courses. 
  2. The assessor contacts our support team and is set up with their assessor profile.
  3. Their manager is then able to use the allocate assessor button to allow their assessor access to their course work. 
  4. When the assessor signs in they only see the individual staff who have been allocated to them and are not able to see the full staff team in the way the manager profiles can.

In almost every other case managers work for the same company as their learners so their access can be configured without needing to use the "allocate assessor" button.  The following articles show how to do this:
