Do I need to allocate an assessor and how do I do this?

Title:
Allocating an assessor in Click Learning

Summary:
This article explains when the Allocate Assessor button should be used and how to arrange access for an external assessor.

Steps:

  1. Use the Allocate Assessor button only when you need to give access to an external assessor who is not part of your organisation’s Click Learning account.

  2. Ask the external assessor to contact the Click Learning support team.

  3. Support will create a special assessor profile for them. This profile type is only available on request.

  4. Once the assessor profile has been created, sign in to your manager dashboard.

  5. Go to the learner’s profile who needs an assessor.

  6. Select the Allocate Assessor button.

  7. Choose the external assessor so they can view and sign off the learner’s relevant coursework.

  • Example:
A learner is completing the Residential Childcare diploma.
Their external assessor needs access to their Click Learning courses to check progress and sign off evidence.
    Support creates the assessor profile.
The manager allocates the assessor to the learner using the Allocate Assessor button.
When the assessor signs in, they will only see the learners assigned to them—not the full staff team.

  • Tips or Common Issues:

    • Do not use the Allocate Assessor button for your internal managers or supervisors.
    • Assessor profiles must be requested through the support team; they cannot be created manually.
    • External assessors only see the learners assigned to them, keeping access limited and secure.
    • If the assessor cannot see the learner, check the allocation again.

In almost every other case managers work for the same company as their learners so their access can be configured without needing to use the "allocate assessor" buttonThe following articles show how to do this:
