How to Sign Off the Care Certificate

As a manager, you must sign off your learner’s care certificates.

If you access the managers dashboard and go into the activity reports, you can filter for Care Certificate on the right-hand side in the course filter.

If you click the white ‘View’ button on the learner that has completed the assessments and then scroll down, you will see the sections are either signed off or not signed off. You then must click view on the 'Not Signed off' sections.

Some of the questions will have a magnifying glass on the right side of the screen, this means they need to be signed off by a manager (they require an observation).

You can then click on the white square for those questions (on the left hand side) and then simply add any evidence you find necessary.

Please remember you must select the option 'Observation' for the care certificate evidence!

Once this is done for each question in that section, scroll to the very bottom of the page and you can then sign that section off!

Once this is completed for all sections, that will complete signing off the care certificate!
