In order for colleagues to sign in using your company Google workspace account please follow these steps.
Go to
Login page and click
Sign in with Google and use your Google workspace email address to attempt to sign in.
Capture the Admin Block / Approval Message
When the block or warning message appears:
- Note the Application name (e.g., APP X)
- Copy the Client ID (if displayed)
- Note the requested permissions (OAuth scopes), typically:
- Basic profile
- Email address
- Take a screenshot of the message (recommended)
Step 3: Contact Your Google Workspace Administrator
Send the following information to your organisation’s Google Workspace administrator:
- Application name: APP X
- Publisher: [Your Company Name]
- Purpose: Required to sign in to Flourish using Google SSO
- Requested permissions:
- Basic profile
- Email address
- Client ID / Screenshot: From Step 2
Step 4: Administrator Approves the Application
The administrator can approve the application using one of the following methods:
Option A: Approve via Google Admin Console (Recommended)
- Sign in to the Google Admin Console
Navigate to:
Security → Access and data control → API controls
- Select App access control
- Click Add app → OAuth App Name or Client ID
- Search for or paste the Client ID of APP X
- Select the application
- Set access to Trusted
- Confirm the scopes and Save
Option B: Approve from Blocked App List
- Sign in to the Google Admin Console
Navigate to:
Security → Access and data control → API controls → App access control
- Locate APP X under Blocked apps
- Change status from Blocked to Trusted
- Save changes
Step 5: User Signs In
Once approval is complete:
- Return to the Flourish login page
- Select Continue with Google
- Login will complete successfully and redirect to the dashboard
