How do I sign off observations?

  • Title:
    Signing Off a Course in Click Learning

    Purpose:
    To outline the steps for reviewing learner evidence and signing off a course or standard in Click Learning.

    Scope:
    This process applies to managers, assessors, and staff responsible for reviewing learner progress and completing course sign-off.


  • Steps:

    1. Open the Activity Report or view the learner’s profile, then select the course you need to sign off.

    2. Review the standard or course page and check any evidence the learner has added.

    3. Select any outcomes that require attention by clicking the box next to each outcome description.

    4. Select the add evidence option and enter a statement along with any supporting information.

    5. Choose an evidence type. Select observation when signing off outcomes that display the observation icon. Observation is mandatory when signing off the Care Certificate.

    6. Select the add and sign off option to complete sign-off for the chosen outcomes.

    7. When all outcomes are signed off, scroll to the bottom of the course or standard and select the final sign off option.

    8. Allow the system to generate the course certificate automatically once all sections or standards have been fully signed off.


  • Responsibilities:
    Managers and assessors are responsible for reviewing evidence, selecting the correct outcomes, providing appropriate supporting statements, and completing the sign-off process.

    Notes:
    Observation evidence is required for any outcome marked with the observation icon and is mandatory for all Care Certificate sign-off.
    Certificates are generated automatically once every section or standard has been fully signed off.
