Who are your Safeguarding courses suitable for?

All of our Safeguarding courses have been created following the principles of the Care Act which influences the standards adopted by the local authority led Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Boards and the Care Quality Commission's inspection regime. The main focus of our courses is on aspects relevant to people working in social care roles, however, the principles are relevant to people working in other roles e.g. police, healthcare, education, personal assistants and the voluntary sector.

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Boards incorporate representation from people who use services and organisations involved with them e.g. local authorities, health, police, education, faith groups and the voluntary sector. These organisations are encouraged to ensure the same principles and standards are adopted consistently. Each local authority area is responsible for creating their own workforce development strategy as is each organisation both nationally and locally (where relevant). These strategies and documents may have specific names given to them e.g. Intercollegiate Documents referred to in healthcare settings.
