Title:
Managing Duplicate Courses in Click Learning
Purpose:
To explain how to identify the reason for duplicate courses on a learner’s account and outline the steps to resolve the issue.
Scope:
This process applies to all staff responsible for supporting learners with course records in Click Learning.
Steps:
Review the learner’s course list to identify whether one of the duplicate courses is a refresher course due for completion in the following year.
Check whether one of the courses has already been signed off. If so, the remaining course is likely the scheduled refresher and should remain on the learner’s account.
Consider whether the learner’s account may have been deleted and recreated, as this can result in duplicate courses being assigned.
Refer to the internal process for removing courses from learners if a duplicate course needs to be removed.
Responsibilities:
Managers and administrators are responsible for reviewing duplicate courses, identifying the likely cause, and contacting the Support Team when needed. The Support Team is responsible for resolving system-related duplication issues.
Notes:
Duplicate courses that include a refresher should not be removed. I need to remove a course from a learner.
Refer to the process note for removing courses from learners if removal is required.
